[Solved] Importing MS Access database into Base

I would like to import an MS Access 2007 database into Base. In addition I have exported the two tables to .txt files. At a minimum I would like to import the tables, but if I can also import my reports and querries that would be great. Can somebody help me with this.

Since you have your data in plain text, I would build a new database (MySQL, Postgre, HSQLDB, whatever[*]), connect one Base document to the database and another Base document to the directory having the text files and then copy over the text tables. Drag one table icon onto another table icon and choose "append data".

[*] For various reasons you should avoid the poorly integrated HSQLDB which is embedded in the Base file.

I have managed to create a new database in BASE and import both my text files into new tables within that database. I only had one query and two reports which I can re-create.
