I am a newbie in database. I need a small relational database tutorial using oobase. I am using Ubuntu 7.10, OO 2.3.
your help is required........please help me.

Hi,
I'm a newbie as well. I got a copy of Getting Started with Base from
http://www.openoffice.org. It's not easy to find. They seem to feel we need a treasure hunt for everything on that site, but...
If you persevere through \support\documentation project\documents & files, you will eventually get to a list of files. Download 'Getting Started....' It's very helpful.
Search on the site and, if you're lucky, they may send you to a place where you can download the file.
There are also other sites.
http://sheepdogguides.com is a good one but they may be only for Mac users. I don't remember.
Have fun, use a soft brick wall to bang your head against, (it doesn't hurt as much) and remember to search the forums every time you hit a snag. You'll get lots of help and many times, the answer is already here.

BTW - have you read the guide to using the forum? That has links to tutorials and documentation. It also tells you how to close a thread so people with a similar question know to look there for the answer.
