Access MDE file in Base

I just heard about Open Office and have a few questions.
I have created a program in Access 2000 (.mde), which is linked to 4 database that are outside of the program.
Is it possible to open the .mde file in Base?

mdb and accdb the MSA files that can connect to OOo, mbe not usable.
