[Solved] Parentheses do not match using Copy Field

 Edit: Split from Base Copy Field or Clone Record - Example 
Thank you all for your assistance. I no nothing about code. I am new to LibreOffice. The copy function runs into a problem at the beginning with. It tells me the "Parentheses do not match". I look forward to any help offered.

The error message tells you what you need to know. "The parentheses do not match" on the line flagged as an error. You should have equal numbers of left parentheses and right parentheses. Start counting.

I did that. It still did not like it. Then I removed the () and replaced them --it still did not like that. I copied the information from this site to my program. Did I preface this with I am basic challenged?

When you get the error message, the IDE will highlight one or more characters in the Basic script on the line where the problem occurred.
Which line of script is causing your problem?
