[Solved] Alignment on = sign?

Post by davedaphoneguy »

I've searched to determine if there is a way to align multiple lines by the first occurrance of an equal sign, but to no avail. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Trying to do this:

Code: Select all

f(x) = x
   y = x

Thanks. I'm still finding my way around OpenOffice.org. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

No problem. Glad it worked out.

If you haven't yet, please have a look at the forum Survival Guide.

Hi,
The link to that FAQ has expired. Do you know how to solve this problem? Or can you give me a new link?

Thanks,
Yawei

I am assuming that it is in its own column. For instance if the = is in column B, you click on the B to highlight all of column B, then click on 'align center horizontally' button.
