Good time of the day! I am using LibreOffice version 6.1.4. I have drawn blue circle with text in blue. Now I want to draw red circle with red text in it. How I can do it? When I change color of new circle to red, already drawn circle also turns to red. The same is true for text and for lines.

Does this problem exists on AOO?

Because you modified the style (same style) of the shapes.

You can
- create and apply different shape styles
- modify some properties of a specific shape manually.

Thank you, but how I can do this?

First I chose circle from shapes, - for some reason it inherits color from already drawn circles. Next I press the Left Button and I open "Edit Style", but then all already drawn circles change their color.

I asked this question in different place and you can download the file here:

Not from other shapes, but it has same style as other shapes have. (I think: The new circle has the default shape style)

Next I press the Left Button and I open "Edit Style", but then all already drawn circles change their color.
"Edit style" will modify the properties of the style. And yes: all of the shapes will be modified that has same style.

You need apply a different style, or you need modify the properties directly: the Line, the Area, ... etc...

I tried to created a new style, I called it Purple. I draw a new circle, next I apply "Edit style" and in "Organizer" I choose "Purple", butnothing happens, - line color is blue and not purple.

The object is a grouped object in your sample document.

Enter group or Ungroup the object before you edit a property of a specific shape inside the group.

I just applied the style "Purple" to some circles inside the group:

I am using LO 6.1.4 too. Use the formatting/stylist tools on the Sidebar.

There are some strange things in the hierarchical order of your styles:
The style 'Purple' is the parent of the 'Default' style. Why/how it happened?

You will find much useful information in the User Guides, the Writer, Base and Calc Tutorials and the AOO Frequently Asked Questions. May I suggest you bookmark the pages.

Thank you Zizi64! I will try your file. I do not know, how this happened.
This is a picture, that I see on my screen.

When I draw a new circle every thing is O'k and when I click on circle "Edit Style" I see following picture:
LOD2.png
And when I draw a new circle everything is O'k - it is purple.

I also drew a line and with help of "Edit Style" I set "Purple' in Organizer.
New style "Object without fill" under Purple style was created.
But line is not purple! It is blue. When I change line color through "Edit Style"->"Line" all lines became purple.
This is what I see, when i open "Edit Style" in alone line:

Not. The "Object without fill" is not located under the style "Purple" directly. The "Default" style is located under the "Purple" directly, and the "Object without fill" is located under the style "Purple". (See the "Hierarchical" view of ther styles in your firstly attached ODF file.)

The "Object without fill" will inherit the properties of its parent - until you not modify them. The parent is the "Default style".
Please reorganize your modified hierarchy. You can drag&drop them.
