[Solved] 'Draw' file as background for 'Text'

I wish to save a drawing as a 'Draw' drawing or template and use it as a background for a 'Text' document. My problem is that the 'Text' graphics background tab will import any of the usual graphics formats - PNG JPG etc. - but the OO formats are not recognised, while 'Draw' will save only in OO formats. How may I resolve the issue? I must be missing something.

Convert the Draw file into a format that Writer background can read and install it as the background.

Thank you but 'Draw' will save only in OO formats. How do I resolve that?

Does /File /Export as not offer a range of formats?

Thank you. I was using 'Save As', 'Export' should have downed on me.
