How to draw two non-connected lines?

I would like to draw two non-connected lines and show one by-passing the other.
OpenOffice 4.1.3

Greetings and welcome to the community forum!

Sorry, OO Draw doesn't provide any automatic way of doing this. You can manually add a shape to mask one line, or add a "bump", or whatever, but you have to manage it yourself.

Ok, how do I draw a semi circle?

1. - Draw a circle-pie shape, and then adjust the angle of the missing slice (and the background color, line width and line color, etc...)
2. - Draw a full circle and then draw a "cutter shape" (for example a rectangle) with an edge through the center of the circle. Then select the two shapes and right click: Shapes - Substract.

I suggest you create a group from a short leader, a semicircle and a short follower.

You can now copy it into place wherever you want it. Rotate it for a vertical version.
