I am trying to create a 26 page book which is a pictorial history book. Unfortunately, sometimes when opening the file many of the pictures have disappeared. the latest opening showed 16 of the 26 pages were empty of JPGs. I am beginning to think that I cannot continue to waste my time using this program. Interestingly, I started by using Libre Office but it had the same problem.
Any cures please
Thanks
Mike

Re: Missing JPGs when opening Draw
Always optimize the pictures (physical size, byte size, DPI, color depth) by a third party picture editor software before you insert them into an ODF document.
And you can adjust the Memory management settings in the menu item
Tools - Options - Libre/OpenOffice - Memory

Also make sure that the pics are embedded in the document.
Check it in menu Edit > Links and break all the links if there are.
