[Solved] Can not see the Sidebar Deck Properties window

I am trying to use OpenOffice draw to make flowcharts. I am struggling to see Properties like in the following OO screenshot.

From what I have researched it is displayed in the Sidebar Deck but I just cant seem to make it visible. This is what I have.

Im selecting items like my shape or text but I get no properties window. Im feeling like a complete idiot

Hopefully someone can help this lost sole

Try selecting the menu item View -> Sidebar. Does that work?

if there are five little dots in the middle of the right hand frame of your windows click on them and that side frame will widen to show you selection icons for the side bar. When it does so, hover over these dots until you get a double headed arrow then pull to the left to reveal the sidebar in docked position.

Thanks guys. When I kept clicking on the view I could finally see those little dots and drag it out. Its been a loooong week
