3D issues

How do I turn on the 3d settings toolbar in openoffice "draw"? It is visible on the drawing toolbar but remains unlit when I enter objects in my drawing?

I haven't used the 3d effects much; I believe you have to first convert a drawing object to "3d". You may want to check the help > Held > OO Draw Help > index: 3d objects; generating ...
