[Solved] Pinning Images
[Solved] Pinning Images
I'm using Open Office 4.1.1 on a PC with Windows 7. Using Open office Draw, how can I Pin an inserted image (map) so that it won't accidentally move when I try to draw lines on it?

Re: Pinning Images
There are some way for this:
1.: Use different Layers. You can create new ones, can freeze them, can hide layers separately.
2.: You can prevent the size, position of an object. Left click on the object: Position and size...

Re: Pinning Images
I prefer the first method: put the image on a separate layer and lock the layer (double-click on the layer tab to change the properties).
This prevents even selection of the image. If you merely lock the object (method 2) it can still be selected and that often interferes with managing the overlaid objects.

Thanks Tibor - I tried using a locked layer and that works great! I also updated my signature. Sure miss XP.
