[Solved] Logic Diagram symbols - how do I import them ?

I need to draw Logic Diagrams using symbols for logic gates etc. These don't appear to come standard with my OOffice 2.3, but I've found other sites that offer sets of symbols.
Question - how do I import them into OO so that they appear on the Draw toolbar along with the stock symbols ?
I've searched Help and the OO website with no luck. To generalise the question : how do I import stock symbols, images etc ? I would expect this to be under Tools-> Customise but no such luck.

Update - by going through other posts, the idea seems to be to import them into a new Gallery. Seems to work reasonably well. Is that the standard way of using new symbols, as Gallery elements ?

thanks
Rod

Nice--thanks for digging that out.

Yes, the Gallery is the intended way of doing this.

I find the Gallery rather awkward to use; I'm just as happy to have a separate Draw document that holds commonly-used elements, then copy/paste or drag/drop them into the working document.

I posted a library of native OpenOffice Draw logic gates. See Custom OO Shapes.
