[Solved] How do you save a file in JPG format?

Post by pauliw25 »

This is the first time I have used OO3.3 Draw so please forgive this basic question.

I recently created a file in Draw saved it as an odg file. However, I need the file in jpg or bmp format. How can I convert or save the file in either jpg or bmp format?

Have you tried to select the shapes and then File>Export? Don't forget to click the Selection only option bottom left. Then select the format in the drop-down list.

Note that you should avoid .bmp. It's the worst format that could exist... Prefer the .png format for drawing shapes.

Please add '[Solved]' at the beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

menu:File>Export...
File formats appear in the export dialog when they can not be opened in OOo (pdf, xhtml, bitmaps)
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.
