Croping Pictures

Hellow everyone,

My Question: Is there a shortcut or other way to crop the picture/image easier.
In openoffice croping pictures would take you to the crop option box and set your define dimension. Can I crop pictures by just dragging my mouse and select the areas I want to crop instead of entering the dimesions...

No, not yet. See: Improved picture cropping for Draw/Impress.

Until that lands (with OOo 3, Fall 2008), you'll probably need to crop the images in a separate image editing application before you insert them into your document.
