Intersect lines (cut at intersection)

Post by David.P »

Is this possible? For example, I have two lines crossing each other, or a line crossing a circle, and I'd like to cut the lines exactly at the intersection?

Yes, yo can do it by the usage of the CADLO extension (tried in my LO 4.4.7 portable version)

Thanks Tibor -- this however only seems to work for intersecting straight lines, unfortunately not for lines intersecting with other things like circles or curves.
But it's still useful for a number of cases.

The intersecting works with two two-dimensional objects (without the CADLO extension). Note: it matter the creation/enumeration order of the objects (A-B or B-A).

Thanks, that's clear.

So no intersecting of lines or curves with each other or with shapes. Will do in Visio instead.
