Hello
I cant find a way to trace & cutout an image, the cropping function isn't good enough, i need to draw around the image & then cutout.
this was a function in Microsoft picture it 7, but i have lost that program as it is old, i have found open office draw is a comparable replacement, but without the tracing function it hinders my creativity.
if help is available or someone is interested in adding code to make this a feature would be appreciated.

Re: Image tracing & cutout not possible
Draw is a vector based drawing program.
You need a pixel based image editor.
Try GIMP which does what you want as I don't think you can do it with IrfanView. Set the background to transparent before bringing it into Draw.
Showing that a problem has been solved helps others searching so, if your problem is now solved, please view your first post in this thread and click the Edit button (top right in the post) and add [Solved] in front of the subject.
