there is insufficient value contrast in the default buttons for older users. Basically the default button text is almost unreadable by many users over the age of 50. (black text on dark blue has very little value contrast).
I would suggest using one of the options classified as excellent in the http://www.uxmatters.com/mt/archives/20 ... splays.php to improve readability.
