Increase value contrast in buttons

Postby b129 » Thu Feb 04, 2016 9:27 pm

there is insufficient value contrast in the default buttons for older users. Basically the default button text is almost unreadable by many users over the age of 50. (black text on dark blue has very little value contrast).
I would suggest using one of the options classified as excellent in the http://www.uxmatters.com/mt/archives/2007/01/applying-color-theory-to-digital-displays.php to improve readability.

You can choose these icon sets in Tools - Options - OpenOffice - View :
Galaxy
High contrast
Industrial
Classic

And you can choose larger large or small icons

The LibreOffice has more sets of icons (Tools - Options - LibreOffice - View):
Crystal
Galaxy
Hicontrast
Oxygen
Sifr
Tango
