[Solved] Mac problem on Survival Guide

Mr Programmer reported that links on the Survival Guide were not working for him. I quote below his report:
None of the More links in this post work because they are missing the #pNNNN tag at the end of the URL. Try a search first: More → viewtopic.php?f=5&t=166 Should be → viewtopic.php?f=5&t=166#p713

I checked using Firefox on Xubuntu, and found that they worked correctly on that combination. So that the report may be closed I should be grateful if (in particular) Mac Users would try such links. I suspect that this problem may be Mac and browser related.

Ciao, with Mac OSX 10.7.5 (Lion) and Safari / Firefox, Survival Guide works for me.

Edit: Why can not I access the link above?
Edit: The link has been removed now ...

Mr Programmer's .sig says he is using Mac OS X 10.9.5 and he tells me that his browser is Safari.

Firefox opened the links correctly. I think it's fair to consider this to be a Safari 9 problem. That browser loses the bookmark at the end of the URL unless the protocol is HTTPS (as opposed to HTTP). I looked at Safari → Preferences, but there were none which seemed like they would cause this difficulty. It shouldn't affect many people since most people now would run Safari 10. I would have to upgrade OS X 10.9.5 to install Safari 10 on my machine. I suppose I'll have to do that at some point, but I'm in no hurry.
