[Solved] Questionable post/user

Postby acknak » Tue Apr 29, 2014 3:43 pm

I've moved this thread:
LibOpenOffice library for automation Apache OpenOffice
https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/v ... 54&t=64636
to quarantine and banned the user.

The first post was flagged as suspicious but to have the user come back and post a followup that includes a commercial link and no development of any actual question or discussion pushed it over the top for me.

But, it's a borderline case and the info could be helpful, as RoryOF already pointed out in the thread. My feeling is that anyone interested in the product can Google for it.

Any strong feelings to the contrary?

I didn't notice that the latest post was from the thread originator. I think you are right to treat this as spam, acknak.

Hi!
Our company, 4K-SOFT, developed LibOpenOffice library for AOO automation. Why am i banned from this topic?
My post isn't spam. I asked to dev@openoffice.apache.org if I can post this topic with.
Here is topic: https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/v ... ce#p309756

Regards!

I checked the mailing list and indeed: http://www.mail-archive.com/dev%40openo ... 12971.html

So I've unbanned OP and restored the topic.
