Is this ad/spam ok?

See http://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/vi ... 20&t=64636

I'm thinking it's not good to allow some and not others, but this looks useful and it's not masquerading as anything other than an advertisement.

Anyone other thoughts?

I wouldn't call it spam per se, it seems (on the face of it) to be useful, free and relevant to AOO.

The general impression of the post is that it is a serious effort. However, when the only way to request more info is by way of e-mail, my alarm bells start to chime. Is this an attempt to harvest email addresses?

Also, while it is not explicitly stated either way, I get the impression that this is a tool you pay for, a library of proprietary binaries, not open source. Nothing wrong with that, I guess, but it should perhaps rather belong in the "paid support" section or a similar subsection of the forums.

The post could be quarantined while those quibbles are addressed. Should not take long if the poster responds. If he doesn't, I'd say it's not a legitimate posting.
