[Solved] Trouble ahead?

Microsoft have announced that they will stealthily update their browser (IE) from the beginning of January. Report at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-16214912

Given the effect of IE9 on OpenOffice stability, this looks like advance warning of trouble!
