Corrupt docm file

Post by rvoliva »

Hello,

I have important text in a document that was saved in .docm format. I need to retrieve the text, I don't need any formatting or anything like that. If I could just get the text out of it that would be great.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bobby

Thanks for the help. That doesn't seem to recover all the text that occurs after the error. This is the error I get when trying to open it:

Someone using different tools, that don't run on my computer, may get the full content.

After adding xmlns:pic="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/drawi ... 06/picture" in the w:document properties, LibreOffice seems able to reread the file...
