Directory of LO beta installation files?

Postby prr » Fri Apr 06, 2018 2:45 am

Is there a link to old beta versions of LO? I saw this directory, but am not sure if these are betas or not: https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/pre-releases/

I like to install betas of a new version first, as they easily install into their own folder, and then if there aren't any glitches, I install the new release over my current installation. I have noticed that they only keep the beta versions linked to in their Download page, up for a week or so. It would be nice to go back and d/l and install the most recent beta into its own folder on my laptop, to test drive it for a few days, so I'd like to know where I can find them if they are not linked to in the official LO download page (https://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/)

Have you asked on the LO mailing list?
AOO 4.1.6 on Xubuntu 18.10 and 4.1.5 on Windows 7 (with winPenPack port).

I sugest you: use a portable version instead of the Betas. The portable versions work in similar way.

Portable Apps versions:
https://www.libreoffice.org/download/portable-versions/

winPenPack versions:

Tibor Kovacs, Hungary; LO4.4.7, LO6.1.5 on Win7-10 x64Prof.
PortableApps, winPenPack: LO3.3.0-6.2.2; AOO4.1.5
Please, edit the initial post in the topic: add the word [Solved] at the beginning of the subject line - if your problem has been solved.
