[Solved] LibreOffice Format Error SAXParse

Post by Kala »

Hi,

I saved my OfficeLibre Writer document as a .docx file and when I try to open it I get the following error message:

SAXParseException: '[word/document.xml line 2]: Attribute w:eastAsiaTheme redefined
', Stream 'word/document.xml', Line 2, Column 75926(fila,col)

I've seen there are a lot of post about this error and I've tried to open it using other programs as some suggested but I haven't been able to do it.
If someone could please fix it for me I would be very grateful as it is a very important file that I've been working nonstop for the past week and I need it urgently.

Here it is:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/1tcu64g1zb3gw ... .docx?dl=0

P.S. I apologize if something I say sounds funny. English is not my first language, it's really late and I'm frinking out about losing this file!

See if the attachment is good - you may need to check formatting.

To reduce the likelihood of this happening, I suggest you save your documents in ODF format (.odt for Libre and OpenOffice) and only save in MS format once the document is complete. Note that Versions of MS Office from 2007 can read ODF files, and PDF may be a preferred alternative if you do not need others to edit your file, jut read it.
