[Solved] Keyboard altered

Post by Traderjo »

I am using Libre Office 5 with Ubuntu os (14.047) and without any prompting from me the keyboard has altered so that for example the @ and the " are swapped. I have insisted to the word processor that my preferred language is English but it seems to be displaying strange tendencies, is this because I am living in France?!

The keyboard layout is a system setting. It is the same in (almost) all applications.
By default Super+Space switches the keyboard layout. You may have hit this combination by mistake.

Thanks for replying, by Super do you mean the change case arrow? + space. I've tried hitting this combination, whilst in Libre office word processor and there is no change.
