Dear all,

When I use ctrl + f to find text, there are never any results. I just get the red X. Why isn't any text being detected? For your reference, these are .doc files.

Try dropping More Options on the Find and Replace window and Uncheck "Regular Expressions"
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.6 on Xubuntu 18.04.3 (mostly 64 bit version) and very infrequently on Win2K/XP

It is already unchecked.

EDIT: Never mind. Works now. Thanks!
