[Solved] Trouble running LibreLOGO

Post by Mark Nelson »

I am running a HP Windows 7 PC. when I click on the start button I get the error message: Error (in line 1). Anyone got any ideas as to what could be causing it?

Can you upload your example .odt file here with the LOGO code list?

Where is the LOGO code for LibreOffice 4.1.2.3 all I can find so far is a .dll loglo.dll which I am afraid to touch. MY text is one line so far that reads: It was a dark and stormy night, because I am just starting on writing a short story to keep busy at home. Could that be it?

I do not know where to find the code list or I would include that as well.

I can not see any LOGO program code in your attached example document.

Here is an another example .odt file with some LOGO example code.
It works for me LibreOffice4.1.1 portable (This version of LO contains LibreLogo feature by default - no need to install separate it as an extension)

You can draw 'n'-pointed stars by running the code. The LOGO program code is located on the second page, as a simple text.
Note:
Do not write other texts before/after code list in the working LOGO turtle graphics document. (When the image have done, drag and drop (copy/paste) it into other documents)
LibreLogo.png
When you change the language of the default paragraph style, and then you click on the 'ABC' icon of the LibreLogo toolbar, then it will change the commands according to actual language of the paragraphs.
