Berlin, April 11, 2013 – The Document Foundation (TDF) announces LibreOffice 3.6.6, for Windows, MacOS and Linux, targeted to enterprises and individual end users who prefer stability to more advanced features. This new release is suited to the increasing number of organizations migrating to LibreOffice, which is steadily growing worldwide.

Hello, I’m new to LibreOffice. I’ve download version 4.0.2 from the link at your front page. Why there is version 3.6.6 now? Which is the latest version or What’s the difference between them? Thank you.

Both are available, as we provide a bleeding edge version (4.0.2) and a conservative version (3.6.6) targeted to users who prefer stability over features, especially in enterprise environments. Providing two version is a feature, and not an issue.
