Startup fails on loading plugins

It appears LO hangs on startup, during splash image, progress bar goes about halfway, then freezes when Enabling:Report Builder. I deleted that plugin folder only to have startup freeze on Enabling: "Script provider for BeanShell". I tried changing permissions on /opt/libreoffice3.4/ to no avail.

I wouldn't mess with the software unless you know what you are doing. Try renaming your settings (profile) folder (after exiting all LO processes). On re-start LO should (if like other software) create a new settings folder. Skip registration and any other unnecessary steps. If the software loads with the new profile, the fault is with your existing settings folder.
