[Solved] Impress no tasks pane

I have impress on my windows laptop and seem to have no task pane. It isn't there under "view".

Do you mean the Sidebar? Is /View /Sidebar enabled? If so, your sidebar may be docked against the side of the OO Window. Look for five dots in the side window frame, hover cursor over them, then pull them out to show the sidebar.
