How to get rid of bullet/numbering

I have a text box on my slide with a bullet and I want to get rid of the bullet. I can change font, size and everything else in the text box except this. Shouldn't there be an option under the Format menu to do this? Thanks.

Look on the text formatting toolbar: click the "Bullets on/off" button.
