Post by Ian Newton »

Welcome beginner. What is your question or comment?
Please try to briefly and clearly tell us: What you want, What you tried, and What happened.

Is it possible to have text infront of .mpg files like you can in some presentation software?
Many thanks and much appreciated - Ian.

I'm sorry, could you perhaps take a look at How to ask a question on the forum and describe your problem a little more specifically? Are you having trouble with text somehow? There's also an Impress guide in PDF format, which you might find very helpful. Please see the link in my signature below.
Cheers!

Hi and welcome to the forums.

I take it you want to have a sort of anmated background to a slide? Regretably, from what I can see, no, this isn't possible.

Might not be the asnwer you're looking for, but if your question has been answered please go to your first post, use the edit button and add [Solved] as the first word of the title. You can also select the green tick icon.
