Dual screen issues with presenting

Post by cinema_church-guy »

what's up with this powerpoint like format - i don't like it; it locks-up the computer to where you can't do anything else but the presentation.

is there a way to disable this without moving the window to the other screen (which doesn't present well)

thanks,

cool - thanks

interesting when you un-check that - you have to re-select monitor 2

It is worth rehearsing any presentation privately, using any monitor as a projector substitute (if a projector is not available); keep notes of your settings and the order in which you make them. I find it good to list these on a sticky label affixed to the laptop (or in your diary/wallet) - anywhere they won't get lost. This saves having to try unfamiliar settings in front of an audience.
