Printing Handouts in Presentation Mode -some slides are miss

Windows 10 Open Office 4.1.2 When printing the slides as a handout - 6 to a page - random slides will appear blank. The slides are all there in the preview but not when I print. The only way I can print all of them is to save the presentation as a pdf in handout format and print the pdf. All the slides print in the pdf format. I have a mac as well and the same problem occurs. I also have more than one printer and the problem occurs on both printers. I am new to the forum and I did try to research this topic but without success.

Greetings and welcome to the community forum!

Is there anything different about the missing slides compared to the others? Maybe different content (an image, or video, etc.) or formatting (slide background, etc.)?

Can you make a copy of your presentation and cut it down to just two slides, one that prints and one that doesn't? If you can do that, then attach the sample document here and we can try it as well.

I'm thinking difference in image format. A test file would be helpful.

I added a page and tried a print to one of my printers. It printed OK. More later. For information: the Handout tab does not show the images, only the layout of the handouts page.
