Please, sorry my no so good English.
I downloaded and install Open Office 2.4.1 for Linux. My OS is ASP Linux 11.2 - it is Russian Fedora-bused distributive.
I want to create a presentation in Impress and use mp3-sound in this presentation. But when I click Insert->Movie and Sound..., Open Office writes that it doesn't support this media format. Also when I try to open mp3-sound in Open Office Media player, it shows to me that it does not support this format too.
Please, say me, what additional to Open Office must I install for mp3-files support in Open Office applications?

If you are using the Fedoras' OOo build, you only need to install all the gstreamer plug-ins available from livna.

No: the official build can only use the "java media framework" to reproduce media files.kramer wrote:RGB, thank you. But I downloaded OOo from OpenOffice.org. Is you advice actual?
