[Solved] Font size is not displayed correctly

Post by Layoutspider »

Hi, I am working on a master in impress. For the title I Chose Arial black, font size 30. Now, I wanted to edit the text and suddenly the text size is about 50%. However, if I mark the text it says it is still 30. But it simply isn't, just about 50% of it. Any idea how I can fix this?
I already closed and restarted but the problem stays.
Thanks for any idea.

Look at the little slider at bottom right of OO window and move it to change the display scale or click in the % box in the corner and choose a scaling factor that suits you - try !00% to start with.
Edit: If that doesn't work, select the text and press Ctrl M

Thanks, but none of the solutions work. I think it is not only a question of the view. I already put the same format (font and font size) into a simple text box where it is shown correctly. Also the Position marker (I don't know a better word) which shows where you are in the line, is the correct size, but simply the text isn't.

Post a file, otherwise we are guessing in the dark.

Thank you, I just found out where I made the mistake. I changed the base line unconsciously with a short cut or something I pressed by accident. That's why I even couldn't undo the change. Sorry, simple user error.....
