I have created an Impress presentation which involves a video. Is it possible to pause the video whilst it is playing so I can answer a question and then resume the video? I have tried clicking the mouse on the screen but that doesn't work, pressing ESC simply takes me back to the Impress editing screen.
At present, once the video has started, it runs until the end since I am unable to pause it.
Thank you,

Re: How to pause a video during a slide show?
I normally insert a video as a hyperlink so that the system video player shows it. This should be easily interruptible. I admit it is clunkier than a video inline on a slide, but it works very reliably.
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.15 on Xubuntu 22.04.4 LTS

Thanks for the suggestion but the PC cannot connect wirelessly to the internet (no wireless card) so I don't think a hyperlink would be applicable. Also the building where I give the presentation does not have a wi-fi connection.
