Clicking through presentation skips mulitple stages

Hi,

I have a presentation that just has a few simple animations in to let the next text appear. No slide effects or anything like that. When I show the presentation often on a single click it will show the next two, three or maybe four stages of a slide.

I have tried turning the double click speed down to no avail.

Has anyone had this before and if so was there a fix?

Hello,

Never see such behavior.
Don't double click but just one enough.
If you have some troubles, you can use keyboard space bar.
Maybe more easy
