is there anyway to save Impress & draw files into jpeg's?

Certainly Draw - use the menu option File > Export...
I haven't used Impress, so I don't know about that.
I would also try PNG. They are much smaller and better quality than JPEGs for most content created in Draw & Impress. JPEGs are best for photographs.

Close again, but still not quite there. Edit your first post---that is, click the Edit button in the top right corner of the first post. That's the message the thread uses for the main subject line. The idea is to get [Solved] into the main subject line so it appears there in the topics list.JaneO wrote:solved thanks

For Impress, depending on your OS, you can use a virtual printer like PDFCreator under Windows that can save as (JPG or PNG).
NB:
- I tag the thread as solved
- I move the thread to the Impress section, it'll be more usefull over there (rather easy to find it in Draw).
