[Solved] Adding an image into a slide

Post by AshleyRose »

Hello.

I'm trying to add a single image into my slide. A small one in the bottom left corner. Whenever I insert it, it comes up as a tiled background. I can't figure out how to have it just be the single image. TIA.

Greetings and welcome to the community forum!

It's a known problem with the current release. I believe the work around is to start with a slide that's completely empty: no empty object frames. If you go to the slide layout selector, the first choice there is "Blank Slide".

Thank you, acknak!

I created a new slide and added the image first. Which worked perfectly!

I resorted to typing disgraceful and terrible profanity into the internet search engines to arrive at this answer which is hugely appreciated!

Thank you AshleyRose for posing the question so clearly and simply.
