[Issue+Workaround] "Pack and Go" in Impress?

Post by lollipop7081 »

I need to package my Impress presenation so that it can be moved from one computer to another without hurting the integrity of the presentation (i.e. include fonts and linked video files). I know MS PowerPoint does this but I can't find the option in Impress, does it do this? Thanks a lot!!

No, but you have various options such as

1. Install Portable Office on USB Key
2. Use a PDF or Flash or HTML (but generally no transitions, animations, or video support)
3. Export to PPT format and then use MSO to create a "Pack and Go"
