Impress Presentation->Screensavers?

Post by bigbrainkid »

Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? 2.3(Impress)
What Operating System (version) are you using? Windows XP
How do you convert Open Office Impress(2.3) presentations into Screen savers?

All of that 3rd party stuff out there is only compatible with Microsoft office. Anyone know of a program, or tutorial, to convert Impress Presentations into Screensavers.

Can't you make it loop? Or export it as .swf?
I move your thread to the Impress forum, see in that section if you find relevant hints (especially for the loop).

OOo can export in .ppt, then rename to .pps if needed. Can't your 3rd party application work with that?

Thanks to add '[Solved]' at beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

Export to an image format in a separate folder (you get one image for each page), then use the "slideshow" screensaver.
Apache OO 4.1.12 and LibreOffice 7.5, mostly on Ms Windows 10
