Hi,
I think about using OpenOffice but I am wondering, which file formats it is able to open up. Does there exist a list, which files can be opened?
In detail I would like to know, if OpenOffice is able to open actual Keynote files (Keynote from Apple, you know...). Is it able to open them? With or without any problems?
Thank you very much

Can OO (Impress) open Apple Keynote files?
Re: Can OO (Impress) open Apple Keynote files?
Hi and welcome to the community!
Sorry for the late answer, normally we're quite a bit faster.
There is a list in a section of the Migration Guide.
Impress is not able to open Keynote files. What you could try to do is to export the Keynote files to PowerPoint files (.ppt) and import those into Impress.
HTH!
KR, phil

Re: Can OO (Impress) open Apple Keynote files?
Hi there!
Thank you very much.
The thing is, I will get many keynote files so I would need a software to open them directly... :-/
But no problem:
I already got keynote.
But thank you very much anyways!
Best,
