Sound Effects Issue

Postby @LaniAR » Fri Mar 28, 2008 6:50 pm

At the risk of sounding dense by being here twice in 24 hours, I'm stuck again!

In Custom Animation, I've added one .wav file to each of 5 fly-in text boxes. When I play the slide show, it plays the first and third noise, then I get mad so I save and close OO2.3. Then, it may play no sound at all or it may play the sound effect on the first text box only, even though they are all set to play the .wav for each text box. Help? :)

UPDATE: I am now using an OO2.3 sound to simplify things and now it consistently only plays a sound effect on the FIRST animated feature.

----------
I've read the Survival Guide
I'm running Open Office 2.3
I'm operating on Vistas
Thanks!

I don't know what to tell you, other than: you aren't alone. I've never been able to get anything beyond the simplest of animations to work the way I want, but I don't know if it's my fault or Impress'. I don't have a lot of experience with creating animations, but I can say that if Impress can do it, it sure doesn't do it easily.

 Edit:
PS: I think it says something that there are 151 open issues that have something to do with "animation".
