Power Point would not open

Help...new here! I was working on power point that was created in MS office......changed it up to suit my needs on my computer (I have open office)...downloaded it to cd. It was there on my computer as I checked it before I left for my presentation. I saved it as MS /xp ppt. When it was time for me to present the presentation was not recognized by an outside computer...it shows that the slide presentation is there on the cd but it is blank..Help!! I have many presentation to do.....

What OS?
If win XP or Vista, you could check your saved ppt file with freely down loadable PowerPointviewer software, and additionally you get the new M$ Fonts for Vista.
