How to export with movie-clips intact

Post by aw_kreawit »

I have trouble exporting Impress files to pdf/swf/html/mpeg/avi or otherformats (have even tried to grab the screen with various tools) with my movie clips intact. The best I can get is a black square.

Any Idea?

Sorry you never got an answer to your question--have you found any solution yet?

As far as I know, this is not possible with Impress (or PPT for that matter). There is a lot of interest in having Impress be able to export a full presentation, with all the effects and embedded media, to some kind of standalone video format. I don't know what (if any) work has been done in that direction.

THe best approach is to copy your movie clips and your presentation file into a single folder. Start Impress from thsi folder and re-insert the movie clips using the new file location as reference. When you export the folder the presentation and movies will be exported together. Run Impress from this folder and everything should be OK.
