text editing, impress 2.3

I frequently lose the ability to edit text in frames within specific slides -- not the entire presentation, and not every frame in a slide. Clicking does nothing. I've had to re-create slides from scratch in order to complete small edits.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Can you attach a small test file that exhibits this problem? I don't use Impress, but that might help others to help you.
