[Issue] "Change font size" effect resets after save

Post by secret_squirrel »

In a presentation I'm using the "Change font size" effect. The idea is to have several boxes: in one the font size grows and in the others it shrinks.

I set all this up and it works great: one box has font size moving to "very large" and the others to "smaller". All tested in viewing the slides and it does the job.

But when I save it, close it down and reopen the file later, all the specific size settings have been changed to "0%" in Effect Options > Effects > Settings > Font Size (to access Effect Options, click on the "..." button.

Do other people see the same problem and is there a workaround?

I'm running Ubuntu Gutsy with the Ubuntu build of OOo 2.3.

I can confirm the problem, testing 2.3.1 and 2.4rc1 on Fedora Linux; I can't find any previous report filed for it.

You can register and file an issue here: Open Office Quality Assurance - Report Bugs

Thanks acknak - will do. I've now tested with the standard Linux 2.3.1-9 build downloaded from OOo and also see the same problem.
